Job Overview Fresh Texas is hiring an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee and coordinate the daily warehouse activities. Ensuring a smooth and consistent operation so parts and supplies are located and distributed to proper departments in an effective and efficient manner as needed to satisfy internal and external customer requirements.

Responsibilities & Duties Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, shipping, inventory accuracy, communication and assuring quality of finished product.

Measure and report effectiveness of warehousing activities and employee’s performance

Organize and maintain inventory and storage areas

Ensure shipments and inventory transactions accuracy

Manage and maintain proper inventory workflow following FIFO procedures

Ensure are equipment is in proper working order.

Strong interpersonal skills required. Will be coaching and developing driver staff to meet company objectives and standards.

Maintain and develop new ideas for cost saving initiatives

Follow all OSHA required and Fresh Texas Safety policies and procedures

Communicate job expectations by motivating and coaching the employees

Determine staffing levels and assigned workloads

Ensure all GMP’s are being followed throughout the facilities

Identify areas of improvement and establish innovative or adjust existing work procedures and practices

Confer and coordinate activities with other departments

Is responsible for assigning and maintaining equipment required to accomplish the warehouse and receiving mission in a safe, effective manner.

Required Qualifications Proven work experience as a warehouse supervisor

Highly effective supervisory skills and techniques

Knowledge of warehouse software packages, ERP systems and MS office proficiency

Ability to input, retrieve and analyze date Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills

Proven ability to direct and coordinate operations

Strong organizational and time management skills

High School diploma or G.E.D Certificate and 5 years of warehouse experience or related experience

Forklift and Pallet Jack Certified Lean Six Sigma or 5s Lean Manufacturing Knowledge

Physical Requirements /Work Environment Employee is occasionally exposed to extreme cold temperatures and moderate noise levels on a regular basis.

The employee is frequently required to reach, grasp, squeeze, using wrist flexion and extension with hands and arms.

The employee is occasionally required to stand between 4-10 hours daily; walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl or overhead reaching.

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
