Warehouse Shipping Expeditor

We are seeking an experienced
Shipping & Fulfillment Specialist to join our warehouse team. This is a hands-on warehouse position responsible for picking orders, packing parcels and pallets, and preparing outbound shipments through UPS and multiple LTL freight carriers.

This role requires more than physical warehouse experience. The successful candidate must be comfortable working in multiple computer systems, processing shipping transactions, preparing accurate Bills of Lading, and coordinating freight pickups. Strong attention to detail is essential.

• Accurately pick products from inventory using order information generated through Business Central and Project Pulse.
• Verify item numbers, quantities, and order details before packing.
• Pack products into parcels or securely onto pallets according to product-handling and shipping standards.
• Use appropriate protective materials, weight distribution, and labeling to prevent damage during transit.
• Inspect products and packaging for damage or discrepancies before shipment.

• Process parcel shipments using UPS shipping software.
• Prepare palletized freight for shipment through LTL carriers.
• Select the appropriate carrier and service level based on the shipment requirements.
• Accurately prepare Bills of Lading for LTL shipments, including freight class, weight, dimensions, destination details, and carrier requirements.
• Schedule LTL pickups and prepare shipping labels and supporting freight documentation.
• Communicate with carriers to resolve pickup, documentation, or delivery issues.

• Process order and shipping transactions across multiple systems, including Business Central, Project Pulse, UPS shipping software, and LTL carrier portals.
• Confirm order picks, packing, and shipment completion accurately and promptly.
• Maintain current and accurate inventory, order, tracking, and shipping records.
• Ensure all shipment information and documentation are complete before orders leave the warehouse.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe pick, pack, and shipping area.
• Follow all company safety procedures and material-handling requirements.
• Safely operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other warehouse equipment.
• Operate a forklift or reach truck when properly trained and certified.
• Assist with other warehouse responsibilities as assigned by leadership.

• Maintain an on-time, in-full perfect-order rate above 99%.
• Process more than two LTL orders per hour.
• Process more than four parcel orders per hour.
• Prepare accurate shipping documentation with minimal errors.
• Maintain reliable attendance, punctuality, and consistent productivity.

• At least 12 months of warehouse, order-fulfillment, shipping, or receiving experience preferred.
• Experience preparing Bills of Lading and coordinating LTL freight shipments strongly preferred.
• Experience using UPS shipping software and LTL carrier portals preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or a similar ERP or warehouse-management system preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to learn and switch between multiple software systems throughout the shift.
• Basic math and reading skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Forklift or reach-truck certification preferred.
