Role Overview
The Assistant Project Manager is responsible for promoting and ensuring site and office safety and managing day‑to‑day execution of assigned Tenant Improvement project(s) role includes supervising subcontractors, vendors, and personnel to complete work on time, within budget, and in compliance with Webcor's quality standards.
Responsibilities- Promote and enforce Webcor’s safety policy, site cleanliness, and related procedures.
- Plan, coordinate, and sequence work and material procurement for assigned projects.
- Supervise subcontractors and vendors, ensuring timely and budget‑conscious delivery of high‑quality work.
- Lead, develop, and mentor junior staff, providing timely feedback.
- Interface with clients, vendors, inspectors, subcontractors, project management, and design teams.
- Provide detailed weekly breakdown of subcontractor daily work activities.
- Assist in managing schedule and scope changes, and in self‑perform group LDR reviews.
- Maintain daily logs and documentation related to OSHA, city permitting, and subcontracts.
- Evaluate hoisting and vertical transportation requirements, coordinating with the Superintendent as needed.
- Organize and layout project site logistics.
- Monitor and enforce QA/QC program, oversee Webcor Punch List Program, and measure quality craftsmanship.
- Schedule, coordinate, and ensure completion of required inspections.
- Working knowledge of prime contracts (lump sum, GMP, hard bid, negotiated, design‑build, etc.).
- Proficiency in cost control, budgeting, bid leveling, cost reporting, billing, and forecasting.
- Ability to lead design coordination efforts.
- Familiarity with site work, structure, finishes, envelope, and MEPS.
- Intermediate computer skills with MS Office.
- Knowledge of Win Est, OST, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Revit, and other BIM software.
- Experience with database information flow/costing software (CMiC a plus) and project management software.
- Advanced RFI and submittal processing skills.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety requirements.
- Effective leadership and mentorship of junior staff.
- Strong communication skills for audiences of various sizes.
- Clear and concise written communication.

- Escalation awareness and minimal Project Manager involvement.
- Strong initiative, accountability, and safety awareness.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Typically four years of construction or engineering experience, including three years as a Project Engineer or equivalent.
- Strong background in Tenant Improvement.
- LEED AP and/or GA preferred.
- OSHA‑10 certification required; OSHA‑30 preferred (training provided if not certified).
Duty performance requires climbing permanent and temporary stairs, using construction personnel hoists, climbing ladders, and negotiating construction work areas. Vision: close, peripheral, and depth perception. Manual dexterity: use hands to handle tools or controls. Ability to sit, talk, hear, stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Regular on‑site work exposing the employee to moving mechanical parts, high places, fumes, weather, and electrical shock risk.
Noise levels are moderate to very loud.
Base pay range: $110,000 – $127,800, depending on individual skill level and experience.
