Position: TFS Work Mngmt Coord Assc - Sr

Job Summary

Responsible for scheduling of pre-determined work activities of Transmission field personnel. Collect data, perform data entry, maintain front end loaded schedules and resource loaded schedules that optimize the maintenance work plans, capital work plans, and other TFS work activities. Complete and submit accurate TFS outage requests, entering outages into iTOA/OSI and verifying required outages have been entered. Advanced knowledge of scheduling software and upgrades required.

Self‑motivated, able to work under minimal supervision, good communicator, works well with others.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with the development of fully integrated resource loaded and levelized TFS work schedules that optimize maintenance work plans, capital outage work, and other TFS work activities using Transmission-approved scheduling software and tools.
  • Comply with the Outage Coordination Procedure and all RTO guidelines.
  • Participate in meetings with project, outage, construction, maintenance, operations and commissioning groups.
  • Assist with TFS outage requests, including entering outages into TOA or its successor database.
  • Assist in organizing, coordinating, and attending the supporting areas outage coordination meetings.
  • Assist higher level employees in coordinating changes to the work schedule when an outage needs to be canceled or rescheduled.
  • Assist higher level employees in the development, review, and presentation of statistical reports related to work scheduling and adherence, crew utilization, etc.
  • Assist with the coordination and participate in meetings with other sections/departments covering scheduling, staffing and outages.
  • Develop professionalism, safety practices, positive culture, teamwork, communication skills, and become familiar with planning and scheduling techniques.
  • Perform all duties and work with others in a safe manner in compliance with appropriate Company safety policies and rules.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Education requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related technical field such as Engineering, Engineering Technology, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Associate’s Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Construction Management or a related technical field.
  • High school diploma, vocational training and 4 years of utility field experience.

Work Experience:

  • Candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree in a Business field (Accounting, Finance, Management) will be accepted if they have at least 2 years of maintenance work scheduling or construction project scheduling experience or other relevant utility experience.
  • Utility field experience inclusive of Transmission or Distribution Line, Station, P&C, Transmission engineering, Transmission or Distribution dispatch experience; or maintenance and/or construction work/project scheduling or project controls experience preferred.
  • Basic working knowledge with MS Office Tools and MS SharePoint.
  • Ability to read/interpret electrical schematics. Some travel required; must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license.
  • Become familiar with planning and scheduling techniques.

Compensation Data

Salary Range:

  • Work Mgmnt Coord Assc (grade
    5) – $64,000 – $78,000/yr
  • Work Mgmnt Coord (grade
    6) – $75,000 – $88,000/yr
  • Work Mgmnt Coord Sr (grade
    7) – $88,000 – $108,000/yr

Compensation Grade: SP20-006

Compensation Range: $63,496.00 – $

Physical Demand Level

Sedentary work:
