Retail Cashier

Overview

Greet customers and provide a positive shopping experience.

Process cash, credit card, and other payment transactions accurately.

Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently.

Assist customers with questions, purchases, returns, and exchanges.

Maintain an accurate cash drawer and balance transactions at the end of shifts.

Stock shelves, organize merchandise displays, and maintain store cleanliness.

Promote current sales, promotions, and loyalty programs.

Work collaboratively with team members to achieve store goals.

Skills and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous cashier, retail, or customer service experience is a plus but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic math and cash-handling abilities.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and customer-focused.
