The Tejas Core Values
These aren't posters on a wall - they're how we hire, how we operate, and how we win:
- Mentoring Others - You're the tech the newer guys come to with the tough diagnosis. You share what you know and make the whole shop better.
- Growth Oriented - Journey level isn't the finish line. New equipment lines, new diagnostic tools, new certifications - we'll invest in your training if you bring the drive.
- Get 'Er Done Attitude - A customer with a dead machine doesn't want excuses. You find the problem, fix it right, and get them back on schedule.
- Team Tejas - The shop, the counter, dispatch, and sales all win together. You work your priorities with the branch team and back each other up.
- Journey-level experience diagnosing, maintaining, and overhauling engines, power transmission systems, and hydraulics on trucks, construction machinery, and equipment
- Ability to work independently with sound judgment - assignments come in general terms, and you run with them
- Comfort working in shop and field environments in all weather conditions
- Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 90 pounds and work in tight or awkward positions
- Valid Texas driver's license and a clean driving record
We take care of our customers - and the team that takes care of them. We're family-owned, growing across Texas, and we promote people who prove themselves. This is a place to build a career, not just clock hours.
