Job Summary:
This position reports to the Rancho Mirage Student Center (RMSC) at the CSUSB Palm Desert Campus. The student assistant is to support RMSC staff in the areas of Programming, Marketing, and Administrative work.
Responsibilities:
Under direct supervision, duties include but not limited to:
- Support hosting RMSC collaborative events for the CSUSB student population
- Assist identifying and creating campus events including contracting and collaboration building
- Data Entry
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- Ability to learn and perform assigned work; follow oral instructions; work cooperatively with faculty, staff, and other students; communicate effectively with all levels; and read and write English at a level appropriate to the position.

Qualification:
Admission or registration as a CSU student.
Required Qualifications:
- Maintain a 2.0 G.P.A. or greater per semester and cumulative.
- Students must be enrolled in at least halftime units at CSUSB (6 units undergraduate; 3 units graduate)
- Eligible to work in the United States

- Knowledge of CSUSB-Palm Desert Campus resources
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)

Compensation and Benefits:
Anticipated Hiring Range: $16.90 per hour.
The compensation offered will consider internal equity and experience among other factors.

Summer available hours:
Monday through Thursday (7:00 am - 5:30 pm).
