This position will support the PAWS Unit, in the Office of the Registrar. Student Assistants will take lead work direction from the PAWS Lead Program Assistant, who will delegate day-to-day tasks and duties and will report to the University Registrar and Director. The Office of the Registrar provides student services related to graduation, registration, and student records. The primary purpose of this position is to update the PAWS software (uAchieve) with transfer credit for all incoming and continuing students and to assist with document archival.
Responsibilities:Under direct supervision, duties include but not limited to:
- Assist with data entry of transfer transcripts into the UAchieve database.
- Validate and verify documents uploaded into OnBase (campus Archive software).
- Organize and scan documentation submitted and processed by the Office of the Registrar.
- Maintain files (creating, updating and organizing).
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Ability to learn and perform assigned work; follow oral instructions; work cooperatively with faculty, staff, and other students; communicate effectively with all levels; and read and write English at a level appropriate to the position.

Qualification:
Admission or registration as a CSU student.
- Maintain a 2.0 G.P.A. or greater per semester and cumulative.
- Students must be enrolled in at least halftime units at CSUSB (6 units undergraduate; 3 units graduate)
- International students must have full-time enrollment at CSUSB. (12 units undergraduate; 6 units graduate)
- Eligible to work in the United States

Student Employment Anticipated Hiring Range: $16.90 per hour.
The compensation offered will consider internal equity and experience among other factors.

Summer available hours:Monday through Thursday (7:00 am - 5:30 pm).
