Role DescriptionWe are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our team and drive excellence in financial data management and analysis. This role offers an exciting opportunity to leverage advanced data analysis skills, technical expertise, and business acumen to support strategic decision-making processes. As an integral part of our finance and analytics team, you will be responsible for transforming complex financial data into actionable insights, ensuring data integrity, and enhancing reporting capabilities through innovative tools and methodologies.

- Develop, maintain, and enhance financial dashboards and reports.
- Perform comprehensive data analysis to identify patterns, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvements within accounting functions.
- Design and implement efficient database solutions, including database design and management.
- Conduct business analysis to understand stakeholder needs, define requirements, and translate them into technical specifications.
- Support linked data initiatives by integrating disparate data sources for comprehensive insights.
- Engage in database design activities to optimize storage and retrieval efficiency for large datasets.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by applying analytics best practices and staying current with emerging technologies like Business Intelligence platforms.
- Proven experience in analytics and a production-oriented business or in an academic environment.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) as well MRP/ERP software, such as FAMOUS.
- Hard worker who is a self-starter and proactive.
- Must have advanced mathematical skills.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and workloads while meeting deadlines.
- Ability to deal effectively with different personalities.
- Ability to use arms and fingers repetitively.
- Experience with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Kaizen is a plus.
- Impeccable attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Must be bilingual in English and Spanish, or English and Mandarin, with the ability to read, write and interpret both languages.
