Key Responsibilities Ensure high-quality production by performing and overseeing all steps of the production process Create production schedules and maintain communication with authors and vendors throughout the production cycle Implement and maintain proper markup and tagging of book files for repurposing in various digital formats
Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in publishing, communications, or related field; equivalent education and/or experience may be considered 2 years of work experience in the publishing industry Strong working knowledge of publication production processes, including copyediting and proofreading Proficient in markup languages (HTML, Ascii Doc) and/or XML editing tools Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
