Job Description & DutiesAre you a United States Military Veteran? Do you have a passion for helping Veterans? The Employment Development Department (EDD) is looking for a highly motivated individual who is customer focused, creative, and enjoys working in a team environment. If you enjoy putting your communication, presentation, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills to use, this could be the position for you.
Under the supervision of Employment Program Manager I, the Employment Program Representative (EPR)-Disabled Veterans' Outreach Program (DVOP) Specialist assists veteran customers faced with significant barriers to employment through the delivery method of self-service, facilitated self-help, and staff-assisted intensive services. Promotes the programs and services offered by the Employment Development Department-Workforce Services (WS) Branch to job seekers, employers, workforce partners, and other community stakeholders.
Provides employment services to veteran job seekers and recruitment assistance to employers following prescribed WS policies and procedures. Prepares and makes formal presentations regarding EDD-Workforce Services, benefits and features of CalJOBSSM to veterans, and engages audiences to utilize the America's Job Centers of California as a one-stop for employment and training services. Follow guidance under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), Wagner-Peyser Act and primarily the Jobs for Veterans' State Grant (JVSG) funded activities.
This position may require travel or be assigned to another office within the Cluster.
Position is located in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. The incumbent must be willing and able to work at any of the three AJCCs within the Rancho Cucamonga Cluster to include:
San Bernardino, Rancho Cucamonga, and Victorville. Business hours are from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, and the candidate will be scheduled within these hours based on business needs.

Effective July 1, 2025, specific Bargaining Units and associated Excluded State employees are subject to a salary reduction between 2% - 4.62% in exchange for hours in the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025) per month.
