Under the direction of the Senior Transportation Engineer, the incumbent performs non‑professional engineering tasks related to transportation field office work.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting on Specialty, High Profile, and Innovative contracting projects such as Design Build, Progress Design Build, and Construction Manager/General Contractor (CMGC) as an engineer technician.
- Ensuring contractors comply with contract documents—Standard Plans, Standard Specifications, contract plans, and Special Provisions.
- Providing construction support to field engineers.
- Performing engineering computations, preparing reports, and maintaining accurate records.
