RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide interpretation services for English and Burmese speakers during meetings, medical appointments, legal proceedings, and other interactions
• Ensure clarity and accuracy of interpretation by adhering to industry standards and best practices
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism throughout all interpretation sessions
• Prepare for assignments by researching and familiarizing yourself with relevant terminology specific to the context
• Continuously enhance your language skills and subject knowledge to provide the best service to clients

• Fluency in both English and Burmese, with excellent oral and written communication skills in both languages
• Solid understanding of cultural context and nuances to facilitate effective communication
• Attention to detail and the ability to remain calm and accurate under pressure
• Prior experience interpreting in medical or legal settings is preferred but not mandatory
