Supervisor Distribution Center

* Manage the workflow of several departments in conjunction with individual department supervisors
* Develop and maintain accuracy standards to ensure unit inventory integrity
* Align with business partners to resolve issues and ensure efficient service
* Ensure dynamic staffing to meet company goals
* Effectively manage staff to meet productivity and cost goals
* Monitor safety and accident incident reports to reduce lost time and ensure performance best practices
* Evaluate and track level of service and accuracy standards
* Lead direct reports to achieve unit goals
* Increase associate engagement by developing and communicating a clear vision
* Maintain open communication, set clear objectives and remove barriers
* Develop an effective staff through coaching and performance feedback
* Follow all company, state, local and OSHA safety rules, policies and regulations to promote a safe work environment; promptly report any potential violations to the appropriate supervisor/manager
* Comply with all company policies, procedures, standards and guidelines, including those related to accuracy and productivity
* Maintain regular and acceptable attendance as set by the company and comply with dress code requirements
* Maintain a flexible work schedule and adhere to the requirement of working any designated shift and overtime as requested per business and operational needs.
* Prior experience managing teams in a distribution warehouse environment
* Working knowledge of automated distribution and warehouse systems
* Bachelor’s or advanced degree
* Strong interpersonal communication skills
* Working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems
* Flexibility in hours to support multi-shift operations
* Effective collaboration and teamwork skills
* Adept multi-tasking abilities
* Ability to satisfactorily complete company training programs and cross-train in at least 2 departments
* 1-2 years of experience with Operations and Operational Support Systems (WMS, WCS, LMS)
* 1-2 years automated MHE and SQL experience
* Effective verbal and written communication skills
* Ability  to work well under pressure and as a team for the achievement of customer satisfaction
* Ability to work under general supervision and use knowledge and experience to provide quality support to the user community
* Ability to comply with dress code requirements.
* Basic math and reading skills, legible handwriting, and basic computer operation.
* Ability to operate and communicate on multiple frequency devices, handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed.
* Ability to maintain prompt and regular attendance and meet scheduling requirements as set by the company.
* Ability to learn and comply with all company policies, procedures, standards and guidelines.
* Ability to give direction and to receive, understand and proactively respond to direction from leadership and other company personnel
* Ability to work as part of a team and interact effectively and appropriately with others.
* Ability to maintain composure and work in a fast paced environment while accomplishing multiple tasks within established time frames
* Ability to satisfactorily complete company training programs
* Ability to use a personal computer for tasks such as communicating, preparing reports, etc.
* Ability to plan, prioritize and monitor activities across business units.
* Ability to complete or oversee the completion of assigned projects in a timely manner.

* Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and occasionally over 50 lbs. with a two person lift.
* Ability to climb, squat, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, twist, reach, lift, grasp, push and pull on a frequent basis.
* Ability to stand/walk for the duration of a scheduled shift (at least 9 hours).
* Ability to visually verify information and locate and inspect merchandise.
* Ability to comply with health and safety standards.
