Job Summary And Responsibilities

As a Clinical Nurse, you will be a central figure in our patient care team, delivering exceptional, compassionate care that truly makes a difference in our patients' lives.

Every day you will collaborate on comprehensive screenings, conduct critical risk assessments, provide vital preventative health education, and expertly coordinate care for diverse patient populations, leveraging technology to streamline processes. You'll ensure patients feel informed and at ease, patiently guiding them through instructions and addressing their concerns.

To be successful in this role, you will combine robust clinical knowledge and technological proficiency with genuine compassion, strong communication skills, and an adaptable approach to learning and patient‑centered care.

• Patient satisfaction:
  Represents the hospital’s patient satisfaction effort, demonstrating AIDET principles when interacting with customers, subordinates, and colleagues.
• Orient patients/family members to the patient room, including positioning personal belongings, use of bed, call light system, and other equipment appropriate to patient age.
• Complete nursing assessment and consistently utilize/develop initial care plans for patients using all available sources of information; adjust care plans to each individual’s capabilities and needs.
• Demonstrate knowledge of patient population needs across lifespan and apply unit‑specific protocols and procedures, standards, critical pathways, and direct patient care skills.
• Communicate consistently with team members about each patient’s individual, age‑specific needs and document this in the nursing plan of care; review and modify as needed per unit/hospital policy and changing patient needs.
• Develop teaching/discharge plans, using assessment data, involving patients and families when appropriate; document patient/family understanding, feedback, or demonstration of new skills.

• One (1) year of experience in the specialty area; new graduates are not eligible.
• Current California RN license.
• AHA‑BLS (Basic Life Support).
• AHA‑ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support).
