Nurse Practitioner Opportunity in San Bernardino, CA

Location: San Bernardino, CA area (100% On-Site)

Position Type: Contract

Duration: 3–6 Months (Intent to extend beyond 60 days)

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Family Nurse Practitioner for a 3-to-6-month contract assignment at our outpatient clinic in the San Bernardino, CA area.

NOTE: This position will fill quickly!

In this role, you will provide comprehensive primary care services to a diverse patient population spanning all ages. You will work in a supportive environment featuring a 1:1 Medical Assistant-to-provider ratio and utilize Epic Systems for electronic health records.

• Provide high-quality clinical care, including examining patients and taking detailed medical histories.
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Prescribe appropriate medications and develop comprehensive treatment plans.
• Perform Annual Wellness exams and complete crucial post-hospital discharge visits.
• Efficiently manage provider "In Basket" messages and communications related to patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic documentation within the Epic EMR system.
• See an average of 18–22 patients per day across all age ranges.

• Education: Satisfactory completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner training program.
• Licensure: Active, unrestricted license as a Nurse Practitioner in the State of California
  .
• Certification: Board Certified
• Credentials: Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) and active DEA registration.
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical practice experience in a primary care or outpatient clinic setting.

• Passing a comprehensive background screening and drug test prior to the start date is required in accordance with vendor credentialing exhibits. Continued credentialing will be processed post-selection.
