# Quality Assurance Technician Anitas Mexican Foods - San Bernardino, CA 92407## Overview Salary Range $19.00 - $22.00 Hourly## Description This position works closely with Quality, Production, and other departments to ensure products and production lines meet company food safety and quality standards. The Quality Technician III will perform quality inspections and verifications, support line start-ups and changeovers, review quality testing, assist with product acceptance and rejection decisions, and help train and mentor other Quality Technicians.

* Schedule:

*** 3rd Shift (9:00 pm - 5:00 am)
* * Flexible/Weekly changing schedule & Rotation

* Key Responsibilities:

*** Perform required QA/QC inspections and testing throughout production.
* Verify production lines are food safety compliant prior to start-up.
* Complete line clearance and changeover verifications.
* Perform GMP and HACCP verifications.
* Verify date codes, labeling, packaging, allergen controls, and other quality requirements.
* Identify and communicate food safety or product quality concerns.
* Support product acceptance and rejection decisions.
* Train and mentor new and junior Quality Technicians.
* Assist with customer complaint investigations, equipment calibration, and special projects as needed.## Qualifications
* 3 years of previous Quality Control/Quality Assurance experience.
* Previous food manufacturing experience preferred.
* Knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, food safety, and quality procedures.
* Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
* Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Must be available to work
** 3rd shift, including weekends and schedule changes based on production needs**.

* Stand and walk for extended periods
* Walk on uneven ground and wet or slippery floors
* Twisting, turning, kneeling, stooping, and bending most of the day

* Exposure to spices (allergens), including but not limited to soy and wheat
* Exposure to high noise levels and a high heat environment
** PPE** - Hair and beard net, chemical-resistant and anti-slippery rubber boots, safety glasses, face shield, earplugs, bump hard cap, chemical-resistant overalls and gloves with long sleeves, and apron.
