The Caltrans Equipment Operator II (CEOII) safely and legally operates a heavy equipment transport truck and trailer engaged in transporting a variety of heavy equipment, vehicles, and freight throughout the district(s) and/or throughout the state. The position may require operating a variety of maintenance, construction, and landscape equipment that may require a class A commercial license with a tank (N) endorsement for the purpose of loading, unloading pickups or delivery to maintenance yards, vendors, or equipment shops within the district and/or throughout the state.
When not operating the specified equipment, the incumbent may assist with small facility repairs, cleaning, and maintenance. PARF# 32-26-0013 / JC-506910.

- The position(s) require a valid unrestricted Class A commercial driver’s license, with Tank Vehicle (N) endorsement.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license is required when operating a state owned or leased vehicle.
