Job Overview
The Shipping Lead is responsible for real-time analysis, coordination and balance of Shipping Operations including allocation of picking/loading tasks. Other responsibilities will include:
- Recording and reporting of outbound deliveries.
- Provides support in reporting, researching and resolving issues that occur in the interface between host system and WMS in a timely manner.
- Ensure all tasks are completed accurately and on time.
- Provides administrative support for the Shipping Managers.
- Develops and maintains a working knowledge and understanding of all needed systems.
- Support Picking and Loading operation as needed.
- Under direct supervision of the DC Shipping Managers. Work is performed within standard policies and procedures with opportunity for unreviewed decision-making.
- All other duties as assigned.

- Ability to communicate proactively and effectively, including comprehending and communicating detailed instructions, reading and writing, and having knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures as required by the position.

Compensation- Starting hourly pay at $21.00 - $24.00/hour (Based on experience)

Minimum Qualifications- High School diploma or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years of warehouse experience including leadership experience in a warehouse environment.
- Skilled at multi‑tasking and managing competing priorities.
- Working knowledge of Word, Excel, SAP and Red Prairie.
- Detail‑oriented and accurate.
- Demonstrated ability to quickly recognise and diagnose trends and patterns in productivity data.
- Must be able to work flexible hours determined by the needs of the department, including weekends and evenings.
- Ability to communicate proactively and effectively, including comprehending and communicating detailed instructions, reading and writing and having knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures as required by the position.
