Compa Loading/Unloading Lead - Tire Warehouse

Job Summary:

The Outbound Loading Lead is responsible for overseeing daily outbound shipping operations, ensuring the safe, accurate, and efficient loading of tires for distribution. This role leads a team of warehouse associates, maintains productivity standards, enforces safety compliance, and ensures all shipments meet customer and company requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate outbound loading operations for tire shipments
• Supervise, train, and support warehouse associates assigned to outbound loading
• Ensure trailers are loaded safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards
• Verify correct product, quantities, and load configurations prior to shipment
• Monitor workflow to meet daily production and shipping deadlines
• Enforce all safety policies, including PPE and equipment operation compliance
• Conduct pre-shift meetings and communicate daily goals and expectations
• Identify and resolve operational issues in real time
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment
• Collaborate with supervisors, inventory control, and transportation teams
• Track and report productivity, errors, and loading metrics

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• 2+ years of warehouse experience (tire or heavy material handling preferred)
• Previous leadership or lead experience strongly preferred
• Experience with RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and handle tires (up to 75 lbs.) repeatedly
• Standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods
• Ability to work in non-climate-controlled environments
• Leadership and team coordination
• Problem-solving and decision-making
• Time management and productivity focus
• Safety awareness and enforcement
• Warehouse setting with varying temperatures
