Warehouse Associate II

SUMMARY:

As part of a leading Global Aerospace Distributor, the Senior Warehouse Associate is responsible for understanding and executing all facets of operational processes including order fulfillment, receiving, domestic / international shipping, and inventory control. The Senior Warehouse Associate will be required to work in a team environment to achieve the expected results.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Order Picking and Packaging Receiving, Packing, and Storing material in warehouse locations

General understanding of vendor paperwork upon receiving and shipping

Prepare orders for domestic and international shipping and verify all required documentation is included

Responsible for producing Export / Customs documentation, which includes SLI’s and AES filings

Contacts Freight Forwarders to coordinate shipments

Performs inventory cycle counts and makes appropriate inventory adjustments as needed

Ensures warehouse and workstations are clean and organized.

Performs other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

A high school diploma or equivalent (GED).1-2 years of relevant/technical work experience.

AOG duty, on call service rotation.

Ability to stand for long periods of time.

Must be able to lift 40 pounds.

Proficiency in using various software, mainly Microsoft Office Word and Outlook.

Ability to read and write at a proficient level PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

Associate degree or technical certification.
2+ years of operational/warehouse work experience.

Intermediate computer knowledge.

Knowledge of Component Control Quantum.

Ability to operate forklift and pallet jackOTHER:
