We’re looking for a reliable, proactive, and kid-focused teacher to join our after school program.
Our program is growing and it's the #1 choice of the town for fun and learning.
This is not a babysitting role — we’re looking for someone who understands child development, can guide students, and help create a structured, engaging environment.
Location:
San Bruno
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM
- Support daily after school program activities
- Tutor students using our homework standards (with strong attention to detail)
- Guide students through structured routines (homework, activities, transitions)
- Help create and implement engaging curriculum and activities.
- Organize classroom materials and maintain a clean, structured environment
- Set up and reset the classroom daily (tables, stations, supplies)
- Assist with student pick‑up coordination (no driving required)
- Communicate with parents efficiently and positively.
- Design fun activities for Art, Music, STEM, Reading, and writing.
- Childcare / Early Childhood Education degree or certificate
- Strong understanding of child development
- Able to create or support after school curriculum
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible
- Flexible, solution‑oriented, and open‑minded, Positive mindset.
- Strong customer service mindset (comfortable interacting with parents)
- Detail‑oriented and able to follow systems and standards
- Comfortable using Excel / Microsoft tools
- Able to lift up to 20 lbs (e.g., moving tables or materials when needed)
- Are warm, patient, and genuinely enjoy working with kids
- Can balance structure + fun in a classroom
- Take initiative instead of waiting for instructions
- Keep spaces organized and running smoothly
- Follow through and handle situations calmly
- We value teachers who are organized, dependable, willing to learn, and take pride in running a clean, structured classroom.
$32–$36/hour (based on experience), with a 5% increase every semester and a yearly bonus.
