Financial Analyst, YouTube Deal Analysis

Analyze, build, represent, and defend financial analyses of new commercial agreements and business cases, developing data-driven Finance Points of View on how to maximize long-term value for You Tube.

Work cross-functionally to support decision-making for new spend initiatives and business trade-offs, developing and representing a Finance Point of View to help drive the organization toward the right long-term outcomes, and ensuring that financial considerations are taken into account where appropriate across commercial partnership proposals.

Ensure accuracy and financial controls throughout the agreement process (e.g., minimal forecast variance, structured performance reporting, and alignment with Engineering, Product Management, and Accounting to maintain data integrity).

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or another quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
4 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), consulting, or a related function, or 2 years with an advanced degree.

Preferred qualifications:

Proficiency with SQL or similar database querying languages and database schema, or a willingness to learn.

Ability to self-start and self-direct work in an unstructured environment, and comfortable dealing with ambiguity.

Ability to persuade through disciplined use of data with comfort distilling complex topics into concise narratives for executive consumption.

Distinctive problem solving and analysis skills, combined with impeccable business judgment, leadership skills and ability to communicate with executives and executive management teams.

Exceptional dexterity with presentation and spreadsheet tools.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. US: $116000 - $166000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits
