+ 15 years of experience leading UX teams or design portfolios.

+ Experience managing and growing cross-discipline UX organizations, including senior managers and their teams.

+ Understanding of roles, methods, processes and best practices for user-centered design.

+ Expertise or interest in short-form video and Gen AI creation.

As the Senior Director, UX, Emerging Experience and Community, you will be responsible for the user experience of You Tube's mobile creation and community experiences - including Shorts, You Tube Create, and formats like Live and Posts. You'll also be responsible for leading the next generation of AI powered creation tools. In this role, you'll drive a user-centered strategic vision, influence cross-functional partners and hold a high bar for product excellence to deliver experiences for You Tube's viewers and creators.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $323000 - $450000 (USD) + 40% bonus target + bonus + equity + benefits

* + Work with your product and engineering partners to set the priorities and roadmap, leading to the growth of existing products and boldly pursuing new ones.

+ Ensure the delivery of high-quality, intuitive, and delightful user experiences for You Tube creators and viewers.

+ Drive operational and executional excellence, while leading creative and holistic thinking at scale.

+ Build relationships with the broader You Tube organization to socialize and influence experiences that are cohesive and well-informed.

+ Serve as a strong thought leader to provide perspective on the evolution of video creation, including Generative AI.
