Your Day at Lowe’sYou ensure the store’s signage, pricing information, and displays are accurate so merchandise is easily located. You create product displays that are safe, clean, visually appealing and customer‑friendly. While most of your time is spent on non‑customer‑facing tasks, you may be called upon to engage with customers, listen to their needs, provide product or warranty information and assist in locating or handling merchandise.
Key Responsibilities- Complete merchandising resets and service‑related projects according to Lowe’s specifications and provide proof of completion.
- Verify buyback items and ensure they are pulled, prepped and ready for shipping.
- Update and validate way finding and product location signage, and maintain digital records of this information throughout the store.
- Confirm product pricing information is clearly visible and replace any missing price labels.
- Drive add‑on sales by staging clearance products, sorting products into proper locations and ensuring displays are placed appropriately.
- Repair or replace damaged or missing items, including signage, merchandise and displays.
- Communicate project priorities, schedules and needs with the Merchandising Services Team and Manager.
- Analyze metrics and provide feedback on project execution and in‑store service to store, market and corporate leaders.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
- Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills (addition and subtraction).
- Ability to hear, listen, and communicate verbally with others.
- Proficiency in web‑based computer programs.
- Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs unassisted, or 25+ lbs with or without accommodation.
- Lowe’s sales floor experience.
- Experience performing product merchandising tasks, including reading planograms and setting up/tearing down displays.
- Experience operating power equipment such as lifts, order pickers and similar equipment.
- Working knowledge of essential tools.
This role does not require regular travel; however, occasional travel may be needed for meetings, training or support of neighboring stores.
Working ConditionsEnvironmental factors vary by location. Exposure to constant or intermittent noise, moving or shaking objects and equipment is possible. Powered equipment is used as required, with proper training or assistance from a trained coworker.
Pay Range$19.00 – $20.55 per hour (starting rate varies based on factors such as position, location, education, training and experience).
