Position Description
- Dishwashing of lab glassware (test tubes, beakers, flasks, etc) is a major part of this job.
- Organizing glassware, supplies, and lab equipment.
- Assisting in maintaining a clean lab and work environment.
- Interacting with students and instructors to determine their needs.
- Ability to follow directions is very important.
- Need to self start and to perform job duties as they will be working independently at times.
- Must be willing to wash lab glassware.
- Schedule is semi-flexible to suit student’s class schedule and microbiology lab schedule.
- Once schedule is established, it will be important to maintain and show up as scheduled and on time.
- This is a Federal Work Study position and applicants must be eligible.
Hours: 10-15
Location: Building 7, Room 7-239
Department: Biology (STEM)
