  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal) and the ability to influence cross-functionally at various levels.

Whether understanding and solving online content concerns, navigating within global legal frameworks, or writing and enforcing worldwide policy, the Trust & Safety team is on the front lines of enhancing the You Tube experience, building internet safety, and protecting free speech in our ever-evolving digital world.

In this role, you will lead initiatives in support of cross‑vertical programs focused on engagement with stakeholders across You Tube to ensure Trust & Safety manages and lands its most sensitive decisions and maintains high operational readiness for sensitive events and elections readiness. You’ll deepen Trust & Safety’s understanding of regional and local trends and risks on You Tube, proactively monitor trends and intelligence sources, and ensure our enforcement guidelines are informed by market knowledge.

You’ll drive collaboration and consistency across Trust & Safety’s efforts to support elections and sensitive events worldwide, including monitoring, supporting sensitive escalations and election/major event readiness, and proactively highlighting risks to the You Tube ecosystem. You’ll coordinate across Policy Enforcement, Engineering, Product, and other teams to help drive operational and technical evolution of how Trust & Safety manages its most sensitive enforcement decisions, and land in‑market enforcement actions via close collaboration with regional stakeholders.

  • Engage with cross‑functional teams to deepen Trust & Safety’s understanding of regional and local trends and risks on You Tube.
  • Monitor and anticipate emerging sensitive events, support sensitive escalations, and prepare risk assessments and action plans based on market knowledge.
  • Ensure compliance of enforcement guidelines with market intelligence and drive consistency across Trust & Safety’s approach to elections and sensitive events worldwide.
  • Co‑coordinate with Policy Enforcement, Engineering, Product, and other teams to evolve operational and technical processes related to sensitive enforcement decisions.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for triaging threats and communicating with stakeholders across You Tube to support sensitive event readiness.
Location and compensation

United States: $141,000 - $206,000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits.
