YouTube AI Music Product Manager

Requirements Must have

• Bachelors degree or equivalent hands‑on experience.
• 5 years of experience in consumer product management or a similar technical position.
• 2 years of experience taking technical products from concept to launch, collaborating with UX and UXR to outline user‑centric product requirements.
• Familiarity with AI/ML models and their evaluations.
• (Preferred) Masters degree or PhD in a related technology or business field.
• (Preferred) 3 years of experience in a business role (e.g., strategic marketing, business operations, consulting).
• (Preferred) 3 years of experience preparing and delivering technical presentations to senior management.
• (Preferred) 2 years of experience in software development or engineering.
• (Preferred) 2 years of experience working collaboratively with engineering, UX/UI, sales, finance, and others.
• (Preferred) 1 year of experience in a technical leadership position.

• Oversee the launch of new generative AI products and features, assess their performance, and make rapid improvements.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, UX, research, marketing, legal, privacy, Trust & Safety, and other teams to define and implement cutting‑edge technologies.
• Establish metrics to gauge the performance and quality of generative AI tools in production, working with partner teams to agree on success criteria.
• Partner with teams across You Tube and Google to outline new use cases and innovations that enhance music engagement for viewers and creators.

Our US base salary for this full‑time role ranges from $156,000 to $229,000, in addition to bonuses, equity, and benefits.
