• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in product management, including taking technical consumer products from conception to launch.
• 2 years of experience developing AI and Security technologies to define technical product features.

• Master's degree in a technology or business related field.
• 5 years of experience in a role preparing and delivering technical presentations to executive leadership.
• Experience in security, AI/ML, risk management and anti‑abuse prevention.
• Understanding of the evolving landscape of security risks in the AI context including agentic workflows.
• Excellent partnership skills, with the ability to navigate complex, high‑stakes stakeholder environments.

• Define and support the end‑to‑end product strategy and multi‑year roadmap for AI Security within You Tube.
• Drive a comprehensive AI security awareness for all You Tube developers, fostering a culture of secure coding and proactive threat modelling for AI‑powered features.
• Manage the full product life‑cycle for key security initiatives, ensuring high‑impact delivery and measurable risk reduction.
• Collaborate with Research and Engineering to deliver AI‑powered security features that anticipate rapidly evolving cyber threats to defend You Tube including Ask on Search and Ask on Watch.
• Lead the team through defining, identifying, collecting, and tracking appropriate product or business metrics, both quantitative and qualitative for new or existing products.

The You Tube AI Safety team is responsible for the end‑to‑end safety and security of You Tube’s Generative AI products. In this role, you will define risk principles for all of You Tube and build a defense‑in‑depth strategy, tools, and processes to systematically mitigate risks.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. US: $163,000 – $237,000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits. Learn more about benefits at Google.
