Athena Coding is a premier enrichment education company seeking an instructor to teach a weekly class for students in
grades 6–8 on Wednesday mornings from 8:00–9:30 AM
. This first session runs
September 2 through October 14
, and instructors are paid$75 per class
.

All curriculum and materials needed to teach the class will be provided in advance. You’ll also receive training before beginning and have access to both in-person and remote support throughout the program.

Dungeons & Dragons, coding, art, science, and chess

• Manage a classroom of approximately 5–20 students while ensuring they are safe, engaged, and having fun
• Facilitate Athena Coding’s provided lessons and activities
• Create a positive and supportive classroom environment
• Help students participate, collaborate, and stay engaged throughout class

• An upbeat, empathetic, and energetic personality
• A passion for working with children and young people
• At least a high school diploma
• Experience working with children strongly preferred
• Some experience or interest in Dungeons & Dragons, art, coding/programming, science, chess, or related enrichment activities
• Reliable availability for the full
