We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Buyer/Planner to support our growing reagent manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for purchasing, material planning, receiving, inventory control, and ERP data management to ensure uninterrupted supply of materials required for reagent production
.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting manufacturing by managing raw materials, reagents, consumables, and packaging components while maintaining inventory accuracy and supplier performance. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working across procurement, planning, warehouse operations, and ERP systems in a fast-paced biotechnology environmen
Responsibilit
- ies Maintain supplier pricing, lead times, and purchasing parameters within Net Sui
- te.
Plan and manage inventory to support reagent manufacturing schedules and customer dema - nd.
Utilize Net Suite MRP to generate and execute purchasing and replenishment pla - ns.
Create and manage purchase orders for raw materials, reagents, consumables, and packaging componen - ts.
Monitor supplier deliveries, open orders, and lead times to ensure on-time material availabili - ty.
Receive, inspect, and process incoming materials, chemicals, reagents, and laboratory supplies and verify shipments against purchase orders, packing slips, and Certificates of Analysis (Co - A).Coordinate incoming inspection and release activities with Quality and Manufacturing tea
- ms.
Manage temperature-sensitive shipments including ambient, refrigerated, frozen, and dry-ice materia - ls.
Maintain accurate item master records and inventory data within Net Sui - te.
Manage material attributes including units of measure, lead times, storage conditions, and supplier informati - on.
Ensure data integrity across purchasing, planning, inventory, and manufacturing modul - es.
Generate inventory, purchasing, and supplier performance reports to support business decisio - ns.
Assist with internal and external audits and support compliance with quality system require men
Required Qualificat
- ions Associate's or bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Operations, Business, Life Sciences, or related fi
- eld.
3+ years of experience in purchasing, inventory control, material planning, receiving, or supply chain operati - ons.
Deep understanding of inventory control methodologies (cycle counting, ABC analy - siss)
Experience working in biotechnology, life sciences, diagnostics, pharmaceutical, or medical device manufacturing environme - nts.
Hands-on experience with ERP systems, preferably Net Su - ite.
Strong understanding of inventory control, MRP, and purchasing proces - ses.
Experience handling lot-controlled and expiration-controlled materi - als.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving ski - lls.
Identify system and process gaps; implement scalable solut - ions Ability to work independently and collaborate across multiple departme
