As an Inventory Control Specialist, you'll play a critical role in maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring our teams have the materials they need to deliver for our customers. You'll combine analytical thinking with hands‑on execution, partnering across Operations, Planning, Purchasing, Supply Chain, and Customer Service to help keep our business running efficiently.

If you're someone who enjoys solving problems, improving processes, and taking ownership of inventory accuracy, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact every day.

What You'll Do

You'll be entrusted with maintaining the integrity of our inventory and supporting the flow of materials throughout our operation by:

  • Managing inventory transactions and maintaining accurate records within our ERP system.
  • Monitoring inventory levels through cycle counts, audits, and ongoing inventory verification.
  • Investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies to ensure system and physical inventory alignment.
  • Organizing inventory locations to improve accuracy, accessibility, and warehouse efficiency.
  • Pulling and staging materials for customer orders and production work orders.
  • Partnering with Planning, Purchasing, Customer Service, and Supply Chain teams to communicate inventory status, shortages, and replenishment needs.
  • Supporting production schedules by helping ensure materials are available when and where they are needed.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve inventory control processes, accuracy, and operational efficiency.
  • Contributing to a culture of quality, teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement.
What Makes You Successful

You're detail-oriented, highly organized, and take pride in getting things right. You understand that inventory accuracy drives customer satisfaction and operational success.

You bring:

  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
  • Basic mathematical skills and confidence working with inventory data.
  • A commitment to quality, safety, and operational excellence.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to identify issues and recommend solutions.
  • The ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Adaptability and a willingness to learn new processes and technologies.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, materials management, or a related field.
  • Experience working in a warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environment preferred.
  • Experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
  • Forklift certification, or the ability to obtain certification within 30 days of hire.
  • Strong computer proficiency and data entry skills.
  • Experience with ERP and inventory management systems such as SAP, Net Suite, Epicor, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms.
  • Ability to learn new systems and technology while maintaining accurate inventory records and transactions.
  • Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
Why This Role Matters

Inventory accuracy is more than counting parts. It impacts customer satisfaction, production efficiency, on‑time delivery, and the overall success of the business. In this role, you'll be a trusted partner across the organization, helping ensure the materials that power our products are available when they're needed most.
