Switch Bioworks in San Carlos, CA is seeking a temporary Research Associate for the Plant Microbiology Team during the 2026 field trial season. This hourly, non-exempt role runs roughly July through September 2026 with about 35 hours per week on-site.
You will process corn rhizosphere samples from collection through DNA extraction and sequencing prep, support library preparation, assist with data QC and integration, and maintain rigorous sample tracking with full traceability.
