- Lead a high-performing research team to advance breakthrough discoveries

- Evaluate and apply emerging technologies and data-driven approaches, including AI, genomics, multiomic analysis, chemical biology, and large-scale biological data analytics
- Establish clear program goals and milestones to drive scientific excellence and delivery
- Communicate progress through regular updates
- Identify challenges proactively and propose solutions
- Build and develop a high-performing team while supporting professional growth, technical expertise, and scientific independence
- Lead cross-disciplinary and cross-functional collaborations
- Drive innovation within and beyond the Institute
- Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent advanced degree in cancer biology, cancer immunology, immunology, protein engineering, AI-driven protein design, chemical biology, computational biology, multiomic sciences, or a related life sciences discipline
- 5+ years of experience or equivalent with a Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent
- Substantial post-degree professional experience in academia and/or industry
- Strong track record of contributions to drug discovery or impactful scientific achievements
- Ability to work effectively in a highly collaborative, fast-paced, and interdisciplinary research environment
- Ability to integrate multidisciplinary approaches to solve complex biological problems
- Scientific leadership to build and sustain collaborative relationships across functional and disciplinary boundaries
- Experience providing scientific guidance and mentorship in a collaborative team environment
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to articulate complex scientific concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
- Supervisory experience or capability; supervisory responsibilities apply
Demonstrates expertise in leading research teams and driving innovation in drug discovery through advanced knowledge in cancer biology, AI-driven protein design, and multiomic technologies. Proven ability to foster collaboration, mentor team members, and communicate complex scientific concepts effectively.
