Security Professional - Overnight Part Time

As a part‑time Security Officer, you will work overnight shifts protecting government and other client sites. You will use our proprietary Claim a Shift platform to view and claim open shifts, allowing flexibility while gaining valuable on‑site experience.

  Thursday 11:00PM – 7:00AM, Saturday 11:00PM – 7:00AM

• Use the proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites.
• Support operations across commercial real estate, healthcare, education, and other environments.
• Receive site‑specific training and guidance from experienced teams.
• Deliver a consistent, professional security presence and customer service.
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise.

• Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures and site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, participate in emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, supporting the needs of the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security‑related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain a visible presence to deter unwanted behavior and provide reassurance to employees, visitors, and the public.
• Follow all instructions and guidelines provided by Allied Universal and the location to support a secure environment.

• Availability across various days and shifts.

• Interest in transitioning into full‑time roles when available.

• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
