AV Installation Technician
Department: Technician

Location: San Carlos, CA (Regent5)
Reporting To: Project Manager
Compensation: $35.00 - $45.00 / hour
DescriptionRegent5 is hiring an AV Installation Technician to join our field team, specializing in high-end residential and commercial automation, AV, and low-voltage systems throughout the Bay Area. Our projects are custom high-end homes, so we're looking for someone dependable and detail-oriented who takes pride in clean wiring, organized racks, and careful installation work.
You Are:- A trustworthy individual. Hungry to learn and grow. Hands-on and love being in the field as opposed to being behind a desk. Technically inclined and always curious how things work.
- Experience on construction sites. Ability to climb ladders, pull cabling, use power tools & hand tools. A steady work history (3yrs between hops), a pleasant disposition, High EQ.
Location:
- 1300 Industrial Road, San Carlos, CA 94070
- In-Person (Not Remote or Hybrid)
Schedule:
- 40 Hours Per Week
- Monday to Friday (8:00am-5:00pm)
- Project Manager
- Pull/Terminate/Test Low-Voltage Cabling (Cat5e/Cat6, Coax, Speaker, Fiber and Control)
- Mount devices at the ends of those wires
- Build and lace equipment racks
- Advanced setup and configuration of devices
- Advanced troubleshooting of devices
- Read plans, wiring diagrams, and installation documentation
- Coordinate with other trades to maintain schedule and site safety
- AV Installation (Resi & Commercial)
- Security Installation
- Low-Voltage Cable Pulling
- Managed Services (MSP) - If you can install!
- Electrician (HV or LV)
- $35/hr-$45/hr – Yup!
- 401k w/ 3% match
