An exciting electric vehicle company is launching and needs a corporate controller. This position is responsible to complete the set-up of the department and all the controls and processes. You have a "seat at the table" as key decisions are made and implemented.
There are three requirements:
- Ability to go "all-in" on the job. The is much to do and at this point there are few people in the department.
- Manufacturing industry experience, Auto industry expertise is highly desired.
- CPA with public company (SEC reporting) experience.
Responsibilities
- Manage with accounting team and actively lead the close.
- Responsible for financial reporting and internal controls.
- Recruit, hire and build a team as revenue increases.
Qualifications
- CPA with 7+ years of accounting experience
- Confidence and independence in management, general accounting, and public company financial reporting (the CFO is NOT a CPA)
- Track record of mastering and using technology to improve efficiency and quality in accounting and financial reporting.
