Sr. Environmental Graphic Designer - San Clemente, CA

DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES

RSM Design is seeking an experienced Project Director and EGD designer to be a part of our team. The candidate will assist in leading a team of designers through all phases of a project, from visioning through implementation. Candidate must have proven project management experience with the use of project planning software.

• 8-10 years of experience in the environmental graphic design field, or related design field.
• Experience in development of signage, way finding, and placemaking packages using Adobe Creative Suite programs.
• 3D rendering skills in Sketch‑up or similar required.
• Experience leading projects and managing a team of designers.
• Collaborative team member with good communication skills that works well in an interdisciplinary, fast‑paced environment, as well as the ability to work autonomously.
• Experienced with client presentation skills and the ability to manage client expectations with clear communication and confident leadership.
• Desire and ability to travel to out‑of‑town project locations.
• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, architecture, or related field.
• Candidate must be willing to relocate and work in the studio.
