About the Role
We’re looking for a highly creative, curious, and detail-oriented Product Designer & Developer to help shape the future of Geometry’s product roadmap.
This role will sit at the intersection of product design, product development, materials, and manufacturing. You’ll be responsible for designing and developing new products from concept through production, while continuously improving our existing collection.
Working closely with our leadership team, you’ll also play a meaningful role in identifying and developing opportunities to expand our product offering into new categories within the home. We’re looking for someone who can bring both a strong creative point of view and the technical expertise to turn ideas into exceptional, commercially viable products.

What You’ll DoProduct Design & Innovation
- Design new products from initial concept through final production, balancing aesthetics, functionality, sustainability, cost, and manufacturability
- Collaborate with leadership to identify opportunities for new products and categories within the home textile space
- Help shape the product roadmap and bring new category concepts from idea to market
- Develop thoughtful, differentiated products that feel distinctly aligned with our brand
- Continuously evaluate our existing products and identify opportunities to improve their design, functionality, materials, and construction
- Research emerging trends, materials, techniques, and innovations in textiles and home products
- Develop concepts, sketches, specifications, and product details that effectively communicate design intent
Product Development
- Own the development process from concept through sampling, refinement, and production
- Create and maintain detailed tech packs, including measurements, construction details, materials, trims, labeling, and packaging requirements
- Work closely and communicate consistently with factories and manufacturing partners throughout development and production
- Review samples and prototypes, identify issues, and provide clear, actionable feedback
- Troubleshoot development and production challenges and work collaboratively with factories to find effective solutions
- Source and evaluate new fabrics, fibers, materials, trims, components, and manufacturing techniques
- Maintain organized product specifications, samples, development documentation, and timelines
- Support costing and ensure products remain commercially viable throughout the development process
Category Expansion
- Partner closely with leadership to explore and develop new product categories
- Research markets, materials, suppliers, and manufacturing capabilities to determine opportunities for expansion
- Translate high-level product opportunities into compelling, well-developed concepts
- Help establish the design language, functionality, and quality standards for new categories
- Build relationships with new suppliers and manufacturing partners as our product offering grows
- Help create a scalable product development process as the company expands
Packaging & Product Presentation
- Collaborate on packaging, labeling, and product presentation across new and existing products
- Develop packaging specifications and work with vendors through sampling and production
- 3+ years of experience in product design and development, ideally within home textiles, soft goods, apparel, accessories, or a related category
- A strong portfolio demonstrating both product design thinking and development expertise
- Strong understanding of textiles, materials, construction, and manufacturing processes
- Proven experience creating and managing detailed tech packs
- Experience working directly with factories and manufacturing partners
- Strong understanding of the journey from concept - prototype - production
- A sophisticated design sensibility with an appreciation for simplicity, functionality, materiality, and quality

- Strong communication skills and the ability to translate creative ideas into clear technical direction
