Overview
Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. Anduril’s systems are powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system for data-driven command and control. This role supports Anduril Intelligence Systems and potentially other lines, acting as an internal/external pilot for unmanned Group 3 and below aircraft, carrying developmental payloads and integrating with systems.
You will assist with planning, coordination, execution, and reporting of flight test programs.
- Maintain professionalism, punctuality, and accountability.
- Prepare mission cards and assist in planning flight missions to meet engineering requirements.
- Act as safety pilot for semi-autonomous remote-piloted fixed and rotary wing aircraft by means of a handheld transmitter and as an internal pilot utilizing a GCS.
- Observe and direct crew to maintain a safe posture at all times.
- Perform duties as Pilot in Command during flight operations and manage the responsibilities associated with that position.
- Cross communicate with multiple teams, internal and external to Anduril, including Senior Leadership or Customers.
- Travel on short notice to fulfill operational needs if and when those needs arise.
- Maintain all required training and certifications required to perform your job, including FAA certifications.
- Provide training and professional developmental support to coworkers under the guidelines of Anduril as needed.
- Expert-level piloting capability with high-performance, complex RC aircraft—including fixed-wing and rotary.
- Ability to proficiently and safely fly and maintain Group 1–3 RC Aircraft.
- Willing to travel (>50%).
- Currently possesses and is able to maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Willing to be multi-capable, including some electronics troubleshooting and repair.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to rapidly change roles/responsibilities while working in a fast paced, challenging work environment.
- Instrument rating.
- 3 years of developmental test experience.
- 10 years RC experience.
- Currently possesses and is able to maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
- Experience with developmental flight testing or rapid prototype flight testing.
US Salary Range: $129,000 - $171,000 USD
