International Freight Specialist – Strategic, High-Impact Opportunity

Salary: $75,000 - $90,000 per year

• Oversee and optimize domestic and international freight operations across multiple transportation modes (outbound and inbound).
• Coordinate shipments across multiple systems; monitor freight activity; resolve transportation issues; maintain carrier relationships; ensure timely delivery performance.
• Collaborate with logistics service providers, carriers, freight forwarders, and internal stakeholders to support efficient, compliant, and cost-effective movement of goods.
• Contribute to strategic initiatives such as carrier evaluations, contract discussions, freight optimization, and cost reduction efforts.
• Audit freight invoices; ensure documentation accuracy and regulatory compliance; develop and maintain standard operating procedures.
• Track transportation performance metrics and identify opportunities to improve service levels, efficiency, and overall freight spend.
• Work with cross-functional teams to manage day-to-day operations and support a growing global distribution network.
• Travel weekly between facilities in Fontana and San Clemente, California (hybrid role).

• Experience managing international freight operations across ocean, air, and ground transportation.
• Strong understanding of shipping documentation, carrier management, logistics processes, and transportation best practices.
• Ability to operate independently, manage multiple priorities, and contribute as a key team member in a fast-paced supply chain environment.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with vendors, operations teams, distribution leadership, and cross-functional partners.

This hybrid position requires weekly travel between Fontana and San Clemente, California and offers the opportunity to play a key role in supporting a growing global logistics network. The role reports to and collaborates with logistics leadership to optimize freight operations across the organization.

This is a highly visible opportunity to take ownership of a critical freight and transportation function within a growing international organization. You will work across domestic and global transportation networks, partnering with carriers, service providers, and internal stakeholders to ensure products move efficiently throughout the supply chain. The role involves exposure to international logistics strategy, vendor management, transportation optimization, and process improvement initiatives.
