We are seeking a skilled CNC Mill Operator to join our production team, focusing on the precision manufacturing of complex components for high-stakes industries. You will leverage your expertise in Fanuc controls and Haas machinery to drive quality and efficiency, ensuring every part meets rigorous aerospace-grade standards from initial setup to final inspection.
About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled CNC Mill Operator to join our production team, focusing on the precision manufacturing of complex components for high-stakes industries. You will leverage your expertise in Fanuc controls and Haas machinery to drive quality and efficiency, ensuring every part meets rigorous aerospace-grade standards from initial setup to final inspection.
Responsibilities- Execute the full production lifecycle of precision metal components, ensuring consistent adherence to tight tolerances.
- Perform rapid and accurate machine setups, including tool selection and offset adjustments to optimize cycle times.
- Interpret complex engineering blueprints to program and operate CNC milling equipment effectively.
- Conduct thorough quality inspections using micrometers, calipers, and CMM technology to guarantee zero-defect output.
- Proactively troubleshoot mechanical or programming issues to maintain high machine uptime.
- Collaborate with leadership to validate first-article inspections and refine production processes.
- Uphold a high standard of shop floor organization and preventative equipment maintenance.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in CNC milling, specifically with setup and operation.
- Proven ability to hold close tolerances of +/- .0002 in an aerospace or similar high-precision environment.
- Deep proficiency with Fanuc controls and Haas vertical machining centers.
- Demonstrated expertise in using precision measuring tools including calipers, micrometers, and eye loupes.
- Physical capability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for extended shifts in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with multi-axis machining and complex part geometries.
- Strong background in interpreting GD&T specifications.
- Proven track record of working autonomously to meet aggressive production schedules.
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and technical troubleshooting.
