Quality Control Inspector

Express Employment Professionals, Laguna Hills is recruiting Quality Control Technician for a fast-growing cosmetics manufacturing company located in San Clemente.

Pay: $23-$25/Hr. DOE

Schedule:

M-F 7:00AM-3:30PM

Responsibility:

• Receive and inspect incoming packaging components and raw materials for quality and specification conformity.
• Assign and record in-house part numbers and lot numbers for all received materials.
• Conduct visual inspections of components (bottles, jars, tubes, labels, cartons, etc.).
• Label and organize received goods with appropriate QC status labels (Received, Sampled, Released, Rejected), including box numbering (e.g., 1/5, 2/5).
• Maintain inventory tracking and traceability records to ensure compliance and efficiency.
• Support the QC team in material sampling, raw-material verification, and documentation.
• Collaborate with the Warehouse and Production teams to coordinate material flow and maintain compliance with SOPs.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in QC receiving and sampling areas per ISO 22716 requirements

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum 2 years of Quality Control experience in a manufacturing or regulated environment
• Experience with incoming inspections, component quality checks, or materials receiving preferred
• Comfortable working in a warehouse or production environment with frequent movement and handling of boxes or pallets
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs safely and regularly
• Forklift experience or certification is a plus
• Basic computer skills for data entry and QC record-keeping
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
• Familiarity with cGMP or ISO 22716 standards preferred
