Electrician

San Clemente, CA

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Journeyman Electricians for projects located in the San Clemente, CA area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $38-40/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial facilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, and specifications
  • Run and secure MC (Metal Clad) cable throughout the project
  • Measure, bend, and install EMT, rigid, and other conduit systems
  • Pull electrical conductors through conduit and cable tray systems
  • Terminate electrical equipment, panels, transformers, disconnects, and devices
  • Install and wire lighting systems, receptacles, switches, and control devices
  • Perform rough-in and finish electrical work
  • Install supports, anchors, and mounting hardware for electrical systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues as needed
  • Maintain compliance with NEC requirements, project specifications, and safety regulations
  • Keep work areas clean and organized

Requirements:

  • Must possess a valid and active Electrical Trainee Card or State Journeyman Electrician License
  • Minimum of 6 years of commercial electrical experience
  • Proficiency in:
    • Running MC cable
    • Bending and installing conduit (EMT, rigid, and IMC)
    • Pulling wire and cable
    • Terminating electrical equipment
    • Commercial wiring methods
    • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and schematics
    • Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
    • Ability to work from ladders, scaffolding, and aerial lifts
    • Ability to lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds
