Title: Accounting Manager - Technical Accounting

Compensation: $110,000 - $135,000 DOE + bonus + RSUs

Overview:

A leading global technology company is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join its Corporate Accounting and Reporting team. This role plays a key role in SEC reporting and advising on complex accounting matters across the organization. The ideal candidate is a CPA with a strong foundation in technical accounting, public accounting experience (Big 4 or large regional), and a background working in large, publicly traded tech companies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the preparation and review of quarterly, annual, and other financial filings with the SEC.
• Collaborate with business units and corporate teams to assess and document accounting treatment for complex and non-routine transactions.
• Manage technical accounting projects related to acquisitions, dispositions, new accounting guidance, and other initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and evolving regulatory standards.
• Serve as a subject matter expert and advisor to cross-functional teams and senior leadership.

Qualifications:

• CPA required.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 6+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, including both public accounting (Big 4 or large regional firm) and in-house roles at large public companies.
• Demonstrated expertise in technical accounting and SEC reporting, including documentation and policy development.
• Experience in the technology industry.
• Familiarity with accounting systems and reporting tools such as Oracle, HFM, WDesk, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Exposure to XBRL tagging and SEC filing systems.
• Proven ability to work within a large, matrixed organization.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to translate complex accounting topics to varied audiences.
• Independent, resourceful, and highly organized with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Capable of balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
