Senior Revenue Accountant

We are partnering with a dynamic and growing life sciences organization seeking a Senior Revenue Accountant to join its collaborative finance team. This role will support key revenue accounting functions across multiple revenue streams, including research-driven arrangements and expanding commercial operations.

The position offers strong visibility within the accounting team and meaningful exposure to both technical accounting and operational finance. As the organization continues to scale, this individual will have the opportunity to contribute to evolving processes, support commercialization efforts, and play a hands-on role in strengthening revenue and receivables infrastructure.

Compensation: Salary: $80,000 – $110,000, with additional bonus and equity opportunities

• Prepare and review journal entries related to revenue and associated accounts
• Support month-end and quarter-end close activities, including reconciliations and flux analysis
• Assist in applying revenue recognition guidance in accordance with U.S. GAAP
• Contribute to technical accounting analyses and documentation for revenue-related matters
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accuracy and completeness of revenue reporting
• Support accounts receivable activities, including analysis of billing activity and resolution of discrepancies
• Partner cross-functionally with operational and commercial teams to ensure alignment between contracts, billing, and accounting treatment
• Assist with external audit support by preparing schedules and responding to inquiries
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and help enhance internal controls as the company grows

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• 3–6+ years of progressive accounting experience, including exposure to revenue accounting
• Public accounting experience with a Big Four or national audit firm strongly preferred; candidates coming directly out of public accounting are encouraged to apply
• Experience in life sciences, biotech, healthcare, or a similarly complex industry preferred
• Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP, particularly revenue recognition principles
• Experience with general ledger systems and strong Excel capabilities
• Ability to analyze accounting issues, interpret contractual terms, and apply sound professional judgment
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments
• CPA or CPA-track preferred
