AP Specialist

$20 - $25 per hour | San Diego, CA | On-site | Permanent

We are a regional distributor of aftermarket automotive parts, supporting repair shops and commercial customers with a reliable supply of essential components. Through a network of strategically located facilities, we provide consistent product availability and timely delivery across our markets. Our focus is on quality, operational efficiency, and straightforward service—helping customers keep repairs moving and control costs without unnecessary complexity.

• Process invoices, POs, and expense reports — match against receiving documents and verify accuracy/approvals.
• Enter and maintain vendor invoices in the accounting system.
• Reconcile AP transactions and monitor vendor account status.
• Run weekly check runs, ACH/electronic payments, and wires.
• Resolve vendor discrepancies and inquiries directly.
• Support month-end close (accruals, reconciliations).
• Maintain audit-ready financial records.

• High school diploma required;
  Accounting/Business degree a plus.
• Experience with accounting software (Quick Books, SAP, Oracle, or Net Suite) and strong Excel/MS Office skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage confidential financial info with integrity.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with competing deadlines.
