A large hospital in the southern California area is looking for an accounting manager to join their team. The accounting manager – grants, government contracts & compliance serves as a subject-matter expert (SME) for grant and government contract accounting within the children's hospital. This role is highly hands-on and oversees accounting, compliance, and reporting for federal, state, county, and philanthropic funding sources.
The manager leads a small but experienced accounting team and is deeply involved in day-to-day technical work, staff development, and regulatory compliance. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the hospital's compliance with uniform guidance, proper management of indirect cost rates, and accurate financial reporting for government-funded programs that support pediatric care, research, and community health initiatives.
