Hybrid role reporting to our City of Industry headquarters — 2 days per week.
We’re Looking ForThe Senior Accountant plays a key role in maintaining the integrity of Super Care Health’s financial records and supporting accurate, timely financial reporting. The position is responsible for complex account reconciliations, month-end close processes, and continuous improvement of accounting operations. The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to partner cross‑functionally in a fast‑paced healthcare environment.
WhatYou’ll Do
Accounting & Financial Reporting
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules for asset, liability, revenue, and expense accounts
- Lead critical aspects of the month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
- Analyze financial data and variances, providing insights and recommendations to management
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, management reports, and budget vs. actual analyses
Reconciliations & Controls
- Perform and review complex account reconciliations, ensuring discrepancies are identified and resolved timely
- Maintain and strengthen internal controls by documenting and improving accounting processes and procedures
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, FASB, and company policies
Operational Support & Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to streamline accounting workflows and improve efficiency through automation and best practices
- Support implementation of new accounting standards, policies, and system enhancements (including ERP improvements)
- Partner with cross‑functional teams (e.g., Billing, Revenue Cycle, Operations) to ensure accurate financial data flow
Audit & Compliance
- Support internal and external audit processes by preparing documentation and responding to auditor inquiries
Ensure financial records are audit‑ready and compliant with regulatory requirements
General Responsibilities
- Provide ad‑hoc financial analysis, reporting, and project support as needed
- Handle sensitive financial information with a high level of confidentiality and professionalism
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 4–7+ years of progressive accounting experience
- CPA or CPA candidate preferred
- Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting, accruals, and account reconciliation best practices
- Advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data analysis)
- Experience with ERP systems (Net Suite strongly preferred)
- Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving capabilities
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and deadlines
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
- Healthcare or home health industry experience is a plus
