We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accountant IV to support corporate accounting and consolidation activities across the organization. This role is critical in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with applicable accounting standards, and supporting the company’s close and reporting processes.
The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing financial records, supporting the monthly and quarterly close, and assisting in the preparation of consolidated financial statements. This position requires strong collaboration with cross-functional teams including finance, technical and government accounting, treasury, tax, FP&A, HR, operations, and external auditors
Duties and Responsibilities
Corporate Accounting & Financial Reporting
Assist in the preparation of consolidated financial statements across multiple entities
Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
Prepare and review journal entries, including accruals and adjustments
Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records and supporting documentation
Perform research and analysis of accounting issues and financial data
Collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and alignment
Drive efficiencies in the close and consolidation processes
Support implementation of best practices in corporate accounting
Reconciliation & Audit Support
Perform account reconciliations, including detailed balance sheet reviews and variance analysis
Identify and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
Prepare and review audit schedules to ensure completeness and accuracy
Partner with internal and external auditors to support financial and compliance audits
ERP Systems & Financial Data Management
Utilize ERP systems including SAP and BPC to ensure accurate financial data and reporting
Support system enhancements and process standardization efforts
Additional Responsibilities

Job Qualifications:
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- 8+ years of progressive accounting experience (or 6+ years with a Master’s degree)
- Master’s degree or CPA preferred
- Experience with corporate accounting, consolidations, and financial reporting required
- Experience in defense, aerospace, or government contracting is a plus
Skills and Abilities
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems; SAP experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across all levels
